Deployment of 100 QR Code Pro Devices to Enhance Security for the National Day Celebration
The RAR-HANET solution, implemented at the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (2/9), utilizes AI-powered Face ID recognition technology in combination with chip-based citizen identification to enhance security and safety at the Ba Dinh Square celebration.
100 Citizen ID scanners depoyed at main entry gates of the event
To ensure security for the event, the RAR-HANET security control solution was installed at six main entry and exit points, including: Hoang Van Thu - Hoàng Dịu,The Bac Son area behind the Memorial Monument, The Dien Bien Phu – Doc Lap intersection, 8 Hung Vuong, The Ong Ich Khiem - Le Hong Phong intersection, and 17 Ngoc Ha.
The devices were operational from 1:00 AM to 12:00 PM on August 30 (for the rehearsal) and September 2 (official ceremony). Guests attending the celebration were required to use their Citizen ID cards with embedded chips to check in at Ba Đình Square during these two days.
The system allows identity verification in under one second. When guests scan their Citizen ID cards, personal information and photos appear instantly on a tablet screen, while encrypted data is securely stored for reporting and management purposes.
This solution was developed by the RAR Center under the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06), Ministry of Public Security, in collaboration with Hanet Technology JSC, a member of G-Group Technology Corporation.
Previously, the same solution was successfully implemented during the April 30th Parade, efficiently managing over 10,000 guest entries. Its deployment at the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) is expected to reduce congestion at entry points while enhancing accuracy and safety in guest check-in operations.
At 4:00 AM on August 30, the system was deployed to ensure security at all entry and exit points of the event.
Alongside the use of advanced technology, tens of thousands of officers and soldiers were mobilized to organize multiple security perimeters, manage traffic flow, and prepare medical and rescue response plans. The Ministry of Healtharranged ambulances and on-site medical staff at crowded locations to promptly handle any emergencies.
To facilitate public viewing of the celebration, Hanoi City installed 285 LED screens at public spaces, government offices, schools, and stadiums.
The solution not only serves to safeguard national-level events but also represents a practical step toward implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, advancing the modernization of the police sector through AI and big data technologies.
